As I considered my income streams and thought to add an additional residual one, the thought to reconsider Network Marketing occurred to me.
After giving it some serious thought, and meeting people of integrity who are successful in the business, I decided to study the model once more.
What I found was that it was my ignorance, and wrong paradigm that made the model 'not to work for me'...
So I started researching deeper to find out more. I listened to people like Jim Rohn eg this training here:
I basically built up my belief and understanding on the industry (remember, I have no problem with the products as I'd used them since 2003 even without getting paid to do so, simply cos they're that awesome. In fact this got me thinking: there could be thousands of people like me out there who would just want to use the products, as I'd done for years - they could get those products through me, and yet because I'm not making them aware of the products it's not happening...)
I continue to do study about the industry, so that any doubt or misunderstanding remains totally cleared up.
So now I'm back into Network Marketing. I attended the company's international convention, met with people of good character (integrity is such a big thing for me, it's one of my values), got some solid training and a massive paradigm shift and I'm pleased to tell you that in the first couple months since I did this, I've started earning an income from the company and have advanced in rank!
Ignorance is a baaad thing.
Please don't let ignorance deny you the opportunity to better your life - explore the Network Marketing industry for yourself. Course I'm happy to talk to you about the company whose products I recommend but don't feel obliged to ask me about it - the ones it's for, the ones who will use it as a vehicle to improve their health and their finances - will get in touch and will do so. It's not for everyone (the products are, but not the business model - though everyone could benefit from it)
My income from this (or any other) business is a reflection of the number of people I've served with what I've got to offer...
My Information Marketing business continues to chug along - every time I give a talk somewhere, I sell out copies of my book! Which is sweet cos public speaking is something I enjoy doing.
So life is good it's all coming together now, re my multiple sources of income.
And I derive great confidence from knowing that God has commanded a blessing on anything I put my hand onto. (Deuteronomy 28) So I'm having a blast right now in my life :)
